Review Policy

Thanks for checking out my review policy! PLEASE NOTE I AM CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING REVIEW COPIES DUE TO THE HUGE BACKLOG I CURRENTLY HAVE. I WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE WHEN I AM ACCEPTING COPIES AGAIN SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COME BACK.

I’m proud to be part of the book blogging community and love working with authors, publishers and booksellers alike with regards to reviews. I am happy to accept both commercially published books and books from independent publishers/self published authors. If you do belong to this group, my friend Lori over at The Next Best Book Blog has created a page that is a growing directory of bloggers who support independently and self published authors. You can see the list here.

I’m open to reading pretty much any genre and so I’m not currently putting any restrictions on the type of books I’m willing to accept for review. Please send me some information about the book and, if it sounds interesting, I’ll happily read and review it. I currently post reviews here on my blog, on Goodreads and on Amazon. I guarantee that I will post a review for each book I accept, however I cannot guarantee when that review will be as I currently have a large number of review copies and an extremely large TBR pile of books that I have purchased myself. I can never predict what I’ll feel like reading next until I finish the book I’m reading as it really does depend what I’m in the mood for. As such, if you need your review publishing by a certain date, I’m probably not the best person to review it for you but if you’re flexible then please feel free to contact me.

I do not accept payment for my reviews and, as such, I am honest and open about whether I enjoyed a book or not, and why. I don’t claim to be a literary critic – my reviews are mostly based on how the book made me feel, what I liked (or didn’t like), how I felt towards the characters, that kind of thing.

If the above sounds good to you, then I would love to hear from you, whether you are a publisher or an author. I have a Kindle and so I am also willing to accept e-books in the formats supported by Kindle.
